Not impressed with the qualityJan 04, 2012

This item definitely arrives as appears. The wine bottle stopper itself is very sturdy. My issue comes with the personalized monogram part. It does just not appear to be very highly finished. Basically it just looks like a letter is printed out on "antique-looking" paper and then put inside that little frame at the top. It didn't seem very sturdy and made little noises when moved, like it wasn't all securely put together. To be entirely honest, I was a little embarrassed to give it to my friends (it was a gift), but I did not have time between receiving the wine stopper and seeing them to come up with an alternative (my fault, not the shipper's---shipping was prompt). I am not really a "complainer," I am usually happy with products and manage my expectations according to price, but this was the first item I've received in a while where I felt truly disappointed in the quality. This was my first time with the vendor and I am also writing Customer Service today to see if this was an aberration in quality, but I guess I would recommend really looking into this product or anything similar from the company before purchasing.
