Historically, monograms were used as royal signature. The Romans and Greeks used them on coins to identify their rulers; Artisans used them to sign their work and Victoria-period high class persons used them as a symbol of their place in society. Monograms retain their elitist aire today and continue to be a personal expression of identity with the Imperial Monogram Coir Mat.

LOVE IT !Oct 09, 2011
By Trisha Espolt Our last name initial is E which I think is such a pretty letter. The E is really pretty and it dresses up our front porch along with the flowered filled urns. Our home is decorated in the French style - blues, green, touches of lavender and black toile and this goes perfectly! Odd combination of colors but they work. Think of the colors of Irises, yep even black.
